2. Never Have I Ever
If you’re looking for a drinking game that can also be a great excuse to gossip, this could be for you. Never Have I Ever is traditionally a party game and a very fun one at that. But with just a few small changes, it can also make a fantastic three-player drinking game.
The basic rules are the same for the most part. The only significant change is that instead of simply answering the question, you must take a drink! For example, let’s say the question is – never have I ever gone skinny dipping.

3. Seven, Eleven, Doubles
This fun dice game goes by many names, including Sloppy Dice and Hero, to name just a few. It can be played with two players but with a few tweaks; it would make an excellent three-player drinking game.
To play, you’ll need four dice split equally amongst two people. The third player will be doing the drinking! To start the game, nominate a player to go first. They should first fill a large glass with alcohol of their choosing and place it in the center of the table.
Then everyone should count to three. On three, the drinker can reach for their drink and start chugging. As soon as they touch the glass, the other two players can begin rolling their dice. The aim is to roll either a 7, 11, or a double before the person drinking finishes and puts down the glass.
If one of the players manages to do this, they can either make the drinker refill the glass and continue drinking. Or make their opponent who was also rolling become the new drinker. Whatever they decide, the round starts again, and players continue rolling their dice.
If no one can roll a 7, 11, or a double before the player drinking finishes, they will choose who starts drinking next. Dice games are very underrated these days, which is a shame because they can be a lot of fun, and they often make great drinking games too.
4. Truth or Dare
Well, I suppose you could call this version of the classic party game Truth or Drink! This game has been played by practically everyone. Children, teenagers, and adults have all likely played a game of Truth or Dare before.
The basic rules are simple player’s take turns to ask each other truth or dare? But this game is incredibly versatile, and with a few minor tweaks to the rules, it makes a great drinking game for three players. Since you’re playing with three people, two players can discuss with each other what they should ask.
Now, if you choose truth, you need to answer honestly. If you choose dare, you either have to carry out the dare set by the other players or forfeit and take a penalty drink. This drink should be much larger than a shot, though, to help encourage people to carry out the dare or risk getting drunk right away!

5. Flip Cup
Flip Cup is usually the drinking game of choice for large groups of people. The rules are simple, and everyone will likely get drunk pretty quickly. But while it might seem like an odd choice with a few minor changes to the rules, Flip Cup can also be a fun three-player drinking game as well.

If you don’t want to risk getting drunk too quickly, then only fill them halfway. Every player should have three cups placed in a row in front of them. Then once everyone is ready, someone should shout go, and the game begins!
Every player will be racing against each other to drink their three drinks. However, as the name says, you also need to flip the cup after finishing each drink. The first player to flip all three of their cups wins the game.
There are numerous different ways you can play Flip Cup as a three-player drinking game. You can use more cups or less, and one fun twist to the game is to fill the cups with different beverages. It’s fast-paced and easy to play, so why not give it a try?
6. Jenga
Well, I bet you didn’t expect to see a game like Jenga on this list, did you? Jenga is a game of precision, balance, and patience. So, you can likely guess that playing this while drinking is going to be pretty chaotic.

Now when it’s played as a drinking game, the rules are basically the same. However, before taking your turn and removing a block, you should take a shot. So, as the game goes on, the drunker you’ll get.
